Inverse designed photonic crystals for spatial filtering

چکیده

Zero incidence angle spatial filters of a compact design can be very useful, among others, for intracavity filtering in high-power micro-lasers. Typically, micro-lasers, especially operation regimes, emit beams low quality due to the large aspect ratio laser resonator. A promising proposal is integration Photonic Crystals structures into micro-resonator laser. Here, we report efficient with desired properties engineered by inverse design. Such designed not only separately both polarizations incident radiation but also simultaneously S and P polarizations. Moreover, fabricate inverse-designed structure physical vapor deposition highlight good correspondence angle-wavelength transmission map target one.
